Perfect Hotels in the USA
Four Seasons Hualalai
Leafy and landscaped grounds surround private bungalow style rooms and suites tucked along trails along the large property. The carefully designed architecture, swimming pools (all seven of them), and the public spaces are indulgent without appearing excessive. The on-site restaurant offerings are few in number, but of high quality, and include what is arguably the best restaurant on the Big Island. The service is excellent and the experience is first class down to the last detail.
The Landing Resort & Spa
With an elegant chalet décor and a variety of facilities, the Landing Resort & Spa offers a luxurious stay in front of a private beach on Lake Tahoe and close to Heavenly Village and the Stateline casinos. Its 77 elegant rooms feature a fireplace, mini-fridge, Keurig coffee maker, balconies or private patios (some with lake views), and luxury bathrooms with heated floors and toilet seats. There is a restaurant that serves Greek and Californian food and has a lovely patio overlooking the lake, although there are reports of slow service. For a dose of pampering, guests can head to the spa site, which has a sauna and steam room, and there is also an outdoor pool with a hot tub. The rates are expensive, however, plus there is a mandatory charge that covers the facilities and services such as Wi-Fi and parking service. For a larger resort with more features, travelers might try The Ritz-Carlton, Lake Tahoe, however, rates tend to be higher.

Good food at the Terra restaurant is highly rated, and the resort also has an outdoor pool, Jacuzzi, luxury spa and free rental, including a Mercedes Benz for the day. However, some customers have complained about the noise in the first floor rooms of pedestrian traffic on the second floor, and although the location is beautiful, it is 20 minutes by car from Santa Fe Plaza, the commercial and cultural center of the city
Mandarin Oriental, Las Vegas
Mandarin is a luxurious five-and-a-half-dollar hotel and is located on the south end and opposite the luxurious shops of Crystals. Its 392 air-conditioned rooms have elegant Asian-inspired interiors with marble bathrooms and ample nightly turn-down service. The three elegant restaurants of the Mandarin receive mostly positive reviews and serve French, Asian and American cuisine. The chef of the French restaurant is Pierre Gagnaire, awarded with the Michelin guide. The property lacks a casino, however, and the two pools do not have enough chairs to meet the demand. Other features include a gym that offers free fitness classes, an impressive spa, a tea room and free car service less than a mile from the hotel. For a more lively stay with luxury rooms and many more features in the place, it is also worth visiting the Wynn.
